11th Golden Hammer winners announced

The 11th International Golden Hammer festival had ended in Riga. The winners are announced!
The main award in the creative categories the Creativity Case, was presented to agency Ogilvy& Mather advertising, Romania.  
The main award in the Best use of Media category – Media folder was awarded to Leo Burnett Moscow, Russia.
The digital media award– Access Key was given to agency Kinograf from Ukraine.
The network award Network of the year was awarded to Ogilvy network.
 
This year, the jury work started in Riga a on the 9th of June, when the jury members started to evaluate the entries applied to Golden Hammer.

Festival Creative jury consisted of 8 jury members and was lead by John Pallant, Regional Creative Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Saatchi&Saatchi, UK.  
The head of Media jury was Anna Lubowska, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mediaedge:cia CEE, Poland. The jury team consisted of 7 industry professionals.
Digital media jury united 5 jury representatives, lead by Markus Grannenfelt, Somijas CEO of White Sheep, Finland.

Creative jury nominated 63 entries for diplomas (works, which got to the shortlist), form them:
28 Silver Hammers,
7 Gold Hammer,
2 Grand Prix that received Ogilvy & Mather, Romania and TBWA/PHS Helsinki, Finland .

In Media category 23 works got the diploma (got to the shortlist), form them:
9 works got the Silver Hammers and 4 – the Gold Hammers.
 
The Digital media jury nominated 22 entries from them:
5 works got the Silver Hammer and 4 – the Gold Hammer.

11th international advertising festival Golden Hammer has received entries from 25 countries! This is the largest ever number in festival history and European countries also joined new continent – Africa.

Most entries come from Russian, Ukrainian and Lithuanian agencies. Comparing with previous year amount of entries grow by 30% and 108 entries were shortlisted. Most wider is represented print ads category, following by interactive media and best use of media categories.

11th International Advertising festival Golden Hammer will be held in Riga, the capital city of Latvia on the 10th – 11th of June. Entries submission will continue until the 22nd of May. From 1994 the festival is organized by Latvian Advertising Association. Since 1999 festival became international.
